About Irish Money Penny
Irish Money Penny
is owned and run by Joanne Riordan. Originally from North Kerry, now living in Ballymacelligott five miles outside Tralee town in Co Kerry.
Joanne worked in Business Banking for Ulster Bank for over six and a half years and in 2013 a restructure in the Bank meant relocation or taking redundancy and a chance to start something new! Joanne looked at this as an opportunity to take time out, up-skill and set up her own business.
Having come from a family in self employment, Joanne is no stranger to the ups and down of running a business having recently got involved in her Dads plumbing and heating business doing the books. It is here she came up with the idea of providing bookkeeping services and payroll services to small businesses.
Many small businesses do not need a full time bookkeeper but would love to have someone to help them with the adminstration and financial side of the business. This is where Irish MoneyPenny comes in.Irish MoneyPenny offers outsourced or in-house bookkeeping services and can work as little or as much as the business needs.
Joanne is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA)- Professional Diploma in Financial Advise. She holds a distinction in Manual and Computerised Bookkeeping and Payroll with Fetac and is currently studying with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) to obtain a Certificate in Management Accounting.
It has always been her dream to one day set up her own small business and in November 2014 this dream became a reality.
